Making adult decisions

A little over 6 months ago I bought a brand new Prius C. I love it. It’s the fanciest, trendiest car I’ve ever owned. Plus it gets insane gas mileage- like 48 mpg on average. The only problem with it was the price- my monthly payments were $340. I could definitely afford the payments, it was just too high. So last night I traded in my beautiful car for something more manageable- a 2013 Nissan Versa. My payments are now $240/month, and I’m still driving a brand new car.

The Versa is good car- it certainly looks nice on the outside. On the inside, it’s very simple. No power locks, power windows or cruise control. It’s much roomier than the Prius was, which fits into my 5 year play (ie: starting a family). I like it, I just don’t love it. But I do love the idea of having an extra $100/month in my pocket. And since I’m not a big car fan or anything, it really made sense for me to cut back in that department.
